An ambitious product photography concept but I was determined to bring this idea to life! A fortnight of cutting, sticking, hanging, swearing and shooting (with a camera) later, I was able to complete these fun and colourful papercraft sets for Sussex-based toy retailer Kinderbarn.
It was a great opportunity to get my crafty side out (and my old tools!), and I’m delighted that the vision in my head worked perfectly. I love working with paper, and it was the perfect complement to these colourful kids toys and art supplies, made by brands including Tender Leaf Toys, Maileg, Moulin Roty, ökoNORM and Kitpas.
Final images are all as shot – aside from standard colour and lighting correction, the only edits were the removal of hanging wires and some ‘zoomie’ effects for the moving animals.
